The Online Visa d’or Awards by Douglas Kirkland Estate
About the award
The third edition of this award, which comes with a prize of 1,500 euros from the Douglas Kirkland Estate, is organized by Images Evidence as part of the 2026 edition of Visa pour l’Image – Perpignan.
The winners of each award will be announced at the next edition of the festival and on the social media channels of the “Visa pour l’Image-Perpignan” International Photojournalism Festival. They will also automatically be in the running for the Visa d’Or News or the Visa d’Or Magazine, which are awarded during the professional week.
A total of four awards will be presented in 2026.
Open to all photographers who wish to submit one of their photo essays, applications for the third edition will open on June 12, 2026. Participation is completely free.
Registration closes on June 24, 2026, or as soon as the 100-participant mark is reached.
Note to participants: Entering one or more Visa d’Or Online competitions does not prevent you from participating in other awards and grants organized as part of the festival.
