A retrospective of current events on a giant screen
The Visa pour l’Image evening screenings cover the main events of the previous twelve months. Each evening, the screening begins with a chronological review of the main news stories, two months at a time. This is followed by reports and features on social issues and conflicts, stories that have made the news and others that have had less coverage, plus reports on the state of the world today. The screenings also include retrospectives of major events and figures. The various Visa pour l'Image awards are also presented during the screenings.
This year, the film screenings will take place from August 31to September 5, 2026, at 9:30 p.m. at Campo Santo. Admission is free.
