For the twenty-sixth year in a row, Canon and Visa pour l’Image will be presenting the prestigious Canon Female Photojournalist Grant to an outstanding photographer in recognition of their contribution to photojournalism. The 2026 winner, Meeri Koutaniemi, will receive prize money of €8,000 which will allow her to work with Elizabeth Nkere, an activist who campaigns to end female genital mutilation in Kenya.
