About the exhibition

Where does the food we eat come from? To answer this question, George Steinmetz produced one of the most ambitious photojournalism projects of the early 21st century. With his drones and glider, he flew over the skies of more than 50 countries. He took to the skies to better document the consequences of food production and their scale. In 2018 and 2022, Visa pour l'Image had already exhibited the first chapters of this essential work, which is as much a documentary as it is an artistic creation in its own right. This final exhibition of Feeding the Planet accompanies the release of his book of the same name.
