El Alto, Bolivie, 2025.
Population : 1,5 million d’habitants.
La ville est essentiellement peuplée d’Indiens aymaras venus de l’intérieur du pays. La plupart ont dû migrer après différentes périodes de gel ayant anéanti leurs récoltes ou à cause de la fermeture des mines.
C’est la ville de plus de 100 000 habitants la plus haute du monde, à 4 150 mètres d’altitude. Au fond, la montagne Nevado Illimani, culminant à 6 462 mètres.

Population: 1.5 million
The majority of the city’s inhabitants are Aymara Indians who have come from the interior of the country. Most of them were forced to migrate due to frosts that destroyed their crops or because of mine closures.
El Alto is the highest city of over 100,00 inhabitants in the world, at an altitude of 4,150 meters. In the background is Nevado Illimani, which rises to 6,462 meters.

Gerbehaye_Kashmir_007 Kashmir Farzan Sheikh, alors âgé de 16 ans, a été blessé à l’œil gauche par un policier indien armé d’un fusil à plomb le 28 mars 2017 dans son quartier de Srinagar, dans la partie du Cachemire administrée par l’Inde. Uzbekistan: The abundant silt in the river Amu Darya, often gives the water a dark red color, an ominous look in the face of its gradual decrease of water levels. This historically important river, formerly known as the Oxus, and its battered waters, are further examples of water security touching every aspect of life in Central Asia.
