About the exhibition

From 1973 to 1987, Etienne Montès reported on current events in the field, on the frontline. This exhibition looks back at fifteen years of tragedy, danger, camaraderie and smiles, in France, Spain, Africa, and Central and South America. After which, Etienne Montès decided to end his career as a photojournalist and took over the family vineyard in the Roussillon region, at the foot of the Aspres mountains.
