Why apply for accreditation?

Each edition of the Visa pour l'Image festival opens with the professional week. This is a unique opportunity for photographers, photo editors and other key players from the sector to meet. Accreditation is for professionals and only applies during the professional week (first week of the festival). Accreditation also helps to support the festival so that it can continue to be free for the public.

If you just want to see the exhibitions and attend the screenings at Visa pour l'Image you don't have to do anything - it's free.

  • Access to the exhibitions from 10am to 8pm.
  • Access to the evening screenings (subject to availability).
  • Access to the meetings, debates and discussions at the Palais des Congrès (except those for professionals only).
  • Access to visits with the exhibiting photographers.
  • Access to book signings (at the Cajélice bookshop, Couvent des Minimes).
With accreditation

The ideal way to make the most of the festival. As a photographer, accreditation allows you to meet key players from the sector, expand your network and show your work to editors during the professional week.

  • Early access to exhibitions (from 9am Thursday to Saturday).
  • Priority access to the screenings
  • Access to all the meetings, debates and discussions at the Palais des Congrès.
  • Access to visits with the exhibiting photographers.
  • Access to book signings (at the Cajélice bookshop, Couvent des Minimes).
  • Access to the Canon area (Palais des Congrès) and to expert technicians from Canon Professional services (CPs) to check your Canon equipment and learn about the brand's latest innovations.
  • Access to portfolio reviews with international photo editors and the ANI (Association Nationale des Iconographes).
  • Mention in the "Who's in Perpignan" list of professionals present in Perpignan.

Visa pour l'Image: Current events around the world

Every year since 1989, the international festival of photojournalism, Visa pour l'Image Perpignan, has reviewed the events of the previous year, covering social issues, conflicts and the state of the world viewed via a variety of subjects and from different points of view.

The program includes: exhibitions, evening screenings, round tables, workshops, portfolio reviews, school weeks, the chance to meet photographers, awards and grants.
